Social activities

Social activities are organized by Alumni in order to enable its members to mingle, have a fabulous time and establish new acquaintances that regularly lead to successful business collaborations and friendships. Some events are also aimed at welcoming and including new members, the current IMB students, promoting healthy life-style and social responsibility.

Gala evening

It is the central event organized by the Alumni. It takes place every year in Bernardin on the Slovenian coast at the beginning of April. Alumni and their accompanying partners gather at this prestigious event to enjoy the presentation of the current generation of students, speeches from the programme director Janez Prašnikar, PhD. and eminent guests, performances by highly regarded vocalists and above all pleasant and relaxed reunion.

Cocktail party

Every autumn we welcome the new generation of IMB students at the Cocktail Party. After students' presentations and formal ceremony with eminent speakers, Alumni MBA Radovljica members mingle and enjoy fine food and drinks.

Picnic

This event takes place in summer at the end of the exam period in the vicinity of Ljubljana. During the picnic alumni gather to play basketball, volleyball, table tennis and football, while also enjoying music, dancing and delicious grilled dishes.

Inauguration night

At the inauguration night, taking place at the end of October, students of the current IMB generation are bestowed the status of alumni by their older peers. The event is truly spectacular and involves innovative games, endurance and concentration tests, accompanied by audio-visual effects.

Sporting Activities

To promote a healthy life-style, members are invited to participate in sports and outdoor events. Moreover, Alumni MBA Radovljica members also run the Ljubljana city marathon each autumn. They are preparing for it as a group, having regular training. As an interesting fact, due to the rich tradition of participation in Ljubljana Marathon, our members are called "the men in ties". We are still in a dilemma whether it has something to do with the T-shirts they wear or their working dress code?

Charity and Sustainable development

Alumni MBA Radovljica is organizing and actively participating in initiatives that are aimed at providing a better future. Besides helping students to engage successfully in the labour market, as a part of its primary mission, Alumni also supports other charity and environmental protection initiatives that are in line with the association's mission. We are proud to have Alumni MBA Radovljica Baby Club, in which our members, who already started a family, pleasantly socialize and discuss parenting, work-life balance issues and other significant issues that influence their family and career satisfaction.
