as per our autumn tradition, we will meet at the 9th Annual Alumni MBA Radovljica Cocktail Party, which will be held on
Monday, October 24th, 2016,
at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana,
starting at 19.00 in lecture room Sejna soba.
At this year’s event we will welcome and get to know the 24th generation of IMB students and have an opportunity to reconnect to each other. Also, we’re glad to host Mr. Aleš Pustovrh and Mr. David Špehar as the honorary guest speakers at the event.
About the guest speakers:
Aleš Pustovrh, PhD, is employed as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. He is involved in research, educational and support activities of the Faculty, mostly in economics and entrepreneurship departments. He is also the co-founder and program manager at ABC accelerator, where his responsibilities lie in the development of the startup acceleration program. He also owns a market research company that is primarily involved in research and consulting to entrepreneurs as well as collaboration with entrepreneurship support institutions. He is also a freelance contributor of The Economist Intelligence Unit and the Eastern European Construction Forecasting Association (EECFA).
David Špehar is an IMB graduate (16th generation), currently working as a Business Planning and Analysis (BPA) Head for Biopharmaceuticals at company Lek d.d., part of Sandoz (a Novartis division). David joined Lek.d.d. in 2010 as a Financial analyst for Biopharmaceuticals within BPA team. In 2015, he expanded his responsibilities after being appointed as a BPA Head for TechOps Shared Services. From March 2016 onwards, David is working as Head BPA Biopharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Lek, David was working as a Key Account Managers in two Slovenian companies (Iliria d.d. and Medicopharmacia d.o.o.). David has been honored with few awards in the financial field such as ‘’Achieving Sandoz Biopharmaceuticals Financial results 2011’’ and ‘’Recognition of the outstanding contribution to Sandoz Finance in 2015’’.
The event will start at 19.00 in the Sejna soba room – in front of the main reception. After the official part of the evening, we’ll have a chance to enjoy some bites and sweets and spend the evening in the company of other alumni.
